Material Handler - Poway - First Shift - $22/HRThe Material Handler supports a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation by safely moving, storing, and tracking materials using forklifts, RF scanners, and an ERP system. This role ensures accurate kitting, efficient loading and unloading, and timely transfers of materials to keep production and shipping running smoothly.ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse and manufacturing areas.Load and unload trucks and other vehicles, ensuring materials are handled carefully and placed in the correct locations.Perform material transfers between storage locations, production areas, and shipping zones using RF scanners and ERP tools.Use RF scanners to accurately scan, track, and record inventory movements and transactions.Support kitting activities by gathering and organizing components according to work orders or production requirements.Update and maintain inventory records in the ERP system, such as NetSuite, to ensure accurate stock levels and traceability.Organize and maintain warehouse areas to promote safe, clean, and efficient operations.Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.Collaborate with manufacturing and warehouse team members to prioritize tasks and meet production and shipping schedules.Identify and report any discrepancies, damaged materials, or inventory issues to the appropriate personnel.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of warehouse experience.Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.Ability to use RF scanners for inventory tracking and material movements.Background in a manufacturing environment.Ability to perform loading, unloading, and material transfers safely and efficiently.Strong attention to detail for accurate kitting and inventory handling.Ability to follow safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Additional Skills & QualificationsCurrent and valid forklift certification is a strong plus.Experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite, is a plus.Prior experience with kitting in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.Comfort working in a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.Why Work Here?You will join a busy, growth-oriented manufacturing and warehouse operation where your contributions directly support smooth production and on-time deliveries. The facility combines warehouse and production areas, requiring awareness of moving equipment, ongoing manufacturing activities, and standard industrial safety practices.
