This position is critical to reducing outsourced electrical work, supporting smart home installations, and enabling future growth into whole-home electrical services. You’ll also play a role in the broader technology team, supporting efforts to scale the lighting division and streamline field operations.This is not just a "tools-on" role—this is an opportunity for someone with the technical chops and the professionalism to handle permit pulling and client interactions with ease.ResponsibilitiesPull electrical permits in Virginia and serve as the company’s Qualifying AgentRelocating or installing outlets (e.g., behind TVs or for smart devicesTrim-outs for Lutron panelsSupporting whole-home electrical projectsSupport the technology team by assisting in lighting and shading system installationsCollaborate with leadership to create and refine operational proceduresCoordinate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical work with AV/control systemsParticipate in broader company initiatives to improve field efficiency and reduce subcontractingMay occasionally support builder relationships and assist with expanding lighting fixture salesQualificationsActive Virginia Journeyman or Master Electrician License (required)Willingness and ability to serve as Qualifying Agent and pull permitsExperience in or exposure to Lutron lighting/shading systems (preferred)Familiarity with low-voltage integration work is a plusComfortable with administrative aspects of permitting and complianceStrong interpersonal skills and a team-player attitudeA desire to grow within a dynamic, technology-forward organizationBenefits50% Company-paid Health Insurance100% Company-paid Dental and Vision InsuranceAccess to Group Life InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Company HolidaysCompany Vehicle ProvidedAll necessary tools and supplies covered
