This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-spectrum midwifery in a collaborative, patient-centered environment alongside experienced OB/GYN physicians and advanced practice providers.Practice Setting The Women's Health service provides comprehensive care across the lifespan, with integrated services spanning outpatient clinics and hospital-based deliveries. The CNM will work across multiple campuses, including Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, delivering high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care within a supportive team structure.Position Highlights Full-time role with a mix of outpatient care and delivery coverage Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care in collaboration with OB/GYN physicians Perform routine gynecologic exams, preventive screenings, and contraceptive management Conduct patient education and family planning services Participate in in-office procedures and hospital-based deliveries Shared call rotation with strong physician and nursing support Emphasis on continuity of care and work-life balance Candidate Profile Graduate of an accredited Nurse Midwifery program with a Master's degree in Nursing Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) Licensed or eligible for licensure as a CNM in New York State Experience preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary range: $120,000 - $135,000, based on experience Annual performance-based bonus potential Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement plan, CME allowance, and malpractice coverage Generous paid time off and relocation assistance available Location & Lifestyle Saranac Lake is located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, offering an exceptional quality of life with year-round outdoor recreation, scenic beauty, and a close-knit community.
