Modern Work Architect (Remote in US)
We are seeking a Modern Work Architect to lead high‑impact collaboration platform migrations from Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom etc. to Microsoft 365 for mid‑market and enterprise customers.
This role is for an architect who is comfortable owning the engagement end‑to‑end. From early discovery and solution design through execution, cutover, and post‑migration stabilization. The ideal candidate has led multiple real‑world migrations and understands both the technical mechanics and the organizational change dynamics involved in modern collaboration transformations.
This architect will partner directly with customer IT, security, and business stakeholders and will work closely with internal delivery teams to ensure migrations are executed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption.
Architects at Inviso operate as technology leaders within Microsoft Solutions Group (MSG). They support technical presales activities, help develop proposals and statements of work, and lead the execution of complex technical engagements.

This role will be 100% remote but requires working during US Time zone work hours.
Candidates must speak and conduct work in English.
Experience & Skills Required
Perform detailed discovery and assessment of existing technical environments (MS and other) to enable the design of a secure, scalable Microsoft365 tenant
Design of standard, robust, secure, and scalable Microsoft365 foundation that reduces risk and enables onboarding of future business units and services
Implementation of Microsoft365 tenant design by configuration of core identity, security, governance, and collaboration services.
Lead end‑to‑end migration engagements from discovery through cutover and stabilization
Design target‑state Microsoft365 collaboration architectures and migration strategies
Plan and execute Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom migrations to Microsoft365
Own migration sequencing, pilots, cutover planning, validation, and hypercare
Serve as the primary technical authority for customers during migration engagements
Guide and oversee engineers and consultants delivering migration work
Communicate risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to customer stakeholders
Experience & Skills Required
7+ years delivering Microsoft365 solutions in consulting or enterprise environments
Deep understanding of the entire Microsoft365 tenancy, interdependencies, and how each of the core capabilities complement one another (Entra, Intune, Purview, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
Proven experience leading Google Workspace to Microsoft365 migration
Hands‑on experience migrating Slack to Microsoft Teams
Experience transitioning Zoom‑centric collaboration models to Microsoft Teams
Strong expertise in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams architecture
Strong expertise in Conditional Access, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud
Deep understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, identity, and access considerations
Deep understanding of device management capabilities (Intune, Application packaging, Defender for Endpoint)
Foundational understanding of Purview tools (Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention)
Experience with migration tooling, automation, and PowerShell scripting
Desired Qualifications
Experience delivering Microsoft‑funded or time‑boxed migration engagements
Familiarity with security, compliance, and data protection considerations during migration
Experience mentoring engineers or leading small delivery teams
Background working with mid‑market or enterprise customers under tight timelines
Preferred Microsoft Certifications: M365 Administrator Expert, Endpoint Administrator Associate
Success Criteria
Architect success is measured through delivery excellence, achievement of personal and team revenue/utilization targets, and high customer satisfaction scores.
This role is accountable for both individual performance and the performance of assigned delivery teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned to client business objectives.
