Palmer Group is seeking a Controller to manage accounting operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives for our client. This role will oversee month-end close processes, ensure financial reporting compliance, provide financial analysis, and lead budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, and strong knowledge of ERP systems. Apply today!Work Model:On-SiteWhat You Will Do:Lead and optimize accounting operations, policies, procedures, and internal controlsManage outsourced accounting functions and develop a high-performing team through cross-functional trainingOversee month-end close processes, account reconciliations, customer setup, and billing accuracyEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAPDevelop and report key financial and operational metricsLead annual budgeting, forecasting, and profitability reporting processesProvide financial analysis, business insights, and performance recommendations, particularly for the Aftermarket business segmentPartner with Operations to identify revenue, expense, and profitability improvement opportunitiesCoordinate audit support and ensure compliance with external reporting requirementsDrive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes and field operationsWhat You Will Need to Be Successful:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA and/or MBA preferredAt least 8 years of progressive accounting and finance experienceStrong ERP systems knowledge and experienceProven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
