Senior D365 F&O Functional Consultant – Finance & Billing

We are looking for a skilled D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant to lead and optimize billing, revenue management, and related financial processes for our US market operations. This role demands strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, billing and subscription billing, and close collaboration with senior finance stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the billing function, including billing cycles, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes.Work closely with the CFO and senior finance stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.Implement and optimize subscription billing, billing/revenue workflows, and related controls within D365 F&O Finance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial processes with contractual and service delivery obligations.Support month-end close, AR processes, and overall financial data integrity.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience at a mid-senior level.Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance.Proven billing and revenue management experience, including subscription billing.Track record of working directly with CFO and senior finance stakeholders.Solid understanding of invoicing and AR processes.Familiarity with accounting standards (AASB15 ASC606) and their application to service contracts with time components and performance obligations.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated ability to own and lead the billing function independently.US market experience is required.DetailsExperience level: Mid-SeniorExperience required: 10+ yearsEducation level: Bachelor's degreeJob function: Information TechnologyIndustry: Information Technology and ServicesRelocation assistance: NoVisa sponsorship eligibility: NoAbout UsCelestrix is a business consulting and advisory practice built for organizations that think beyond the ordinary.
