NYS Professional Engineer Pile Inspector

Job Description Amaracon provides special inspection and material testing services to a broad range of New York construction, developer, and owner clients. We are looking for individuals who are interested in joining a dynamic team and building their careers in the field of special inspection and materials testing. Job Requirements We are looking for a NYS Professional Engineer to perform Pile inspections at locations throughout NYC. The position requires being out on construction sites doing physical labor for the testing. A personal car and a valid driving license are required. An ability to lift over 50lbs. To grow within the company the applicant must take certification tests. Applicants must be able to self-study and take tests. Basic math skills are required. We do provide training and support. Must write detailed field reports in a timely, precise, and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills and certifications through company-provided training and mentoring. Prior Experience and skills Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering required. NYS Licensed Professional Engineer is Required Two to five years of experience in the Special Inspections field is required. Training to obtain additional certifications will be provided by the company. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Must be self-motivated and be organized and efficient with the turnaround of reports Pay increases upon successful completion of certifications Must have access to an insured vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
