Business Analyst/Quality Assurance (Carmel, IN) SummaryWe are looking for a motivated self-starter to join our team as a Quality Assurance Business Analyst. You’ll be working with our QA team to test development changes, and our BA team to investigate issues reported by clients, provide end-user training where needed, and write documentation. It would be helpful to have background knowledge in health insurance and/or Software as a Service (SaaS), although this is not a requirement. The best candidate will be a team player who is enthusiastic and loves to learn!Applicant must be located in the greater Indianapolis area and able to commute to our Carmel, IN office.Business Analyst Responsibilities Include But Not Limited ToDocument and track change requests in the IT ticket systemTesting of new system releases and patchesDocument changes to systemWork with development team to design user-friendly software solutionsAssist with implementation team to manage projects as neededProvide customer support and end-user training as neededTroubleshooting of claims processing and system issuesDocument proceduresProvides analysis, definition, and direction to computer applications related development and maintenance activitiesEnsures correct business functionality, requirements, and industry standards are addressed within the software applicationRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this jobBusiness Analyst RequirementsBachelor’s degree or higher - preferredExperience working in medical claims processing, medical coding, or software configuration - preferredEnthusiasm for learning new things and a willingness to become a subject matter expert in SpyglassExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to calculate accumulators involved in claims processing, such as different out of pocket and coordination of benefit methodologiesPhysical Requirements - Extended periods of sitting/standing. Extensive keyboarding.Work Schedule - Full time. Monday – Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm. Flexible/hybrid schedules available with the potential to work from home occasionally after demonstrated performance.
