ALBERT HOTEL is hiring for a VALET ATTENDANTAn urban oasis, tucked away off of Main Street in the heart of Fredericksburg, TX, Albert Hotel offers a peaceful yet sophisticated luxury experience in Texas's famed Hill Country. Opened in January 2025, the property features 105 thoughtfully appointed guest rooms and suites, along with uniquely designed bunk rooms and a private house with custom furnishings, locally-curated amenities, and thoughtful touches.With the guest experience in mind, Albert's elevated amenities include a sunken limestone pool featuring an outdoor bar and cabanas, state-of-the-art fitness center, and a 2,000-square-foot full-service spa. Additionally, the property is home to four on-site culinary outlets, including The Restaurant at Albert led by Michelin-starred and multi-James Beard Award-nominated Chef Michael Fojtasek.Albert boasts 3,600-square-foot of semi-open air event space, a 1,200-square-foot mezzanine deck, and an expansive event lawn, making it a prime destination for weddings, private events, and intimate gatherings.What you'll do:Greet all guests in close proximity and make each feel important by providing a genuine welcome and opening entrance doorsDrive safely and follow all traffic regulations while parking and returning guests' vehiclesEnsure that the front lobby, front interior, and exterior entrances are kept cleanMaintain knowledge of the hotel property, staff, hours of operation, and services; sell the amenities of the hotelImmediately inform hotel management of any accidents or moving violationsPick up and deliver guest laundry for valet serviceRead maps and provide clear directionsCarry baggage weighing up to fifty pounds to the guest's room; respond to requests for bell service as soon as possibleArrange and store luggage carts; use extreme caution to protect guest's property when loading and unloading luggage cartsContinually watch for people in halls, around corners, and in elevators, and be aware of any possible safety hazardsDeliver packages, faxes, and messages to guestsArrange for reasonable accommodations for person(s) with disabilitiesWho you are:You are over 21 years of age.You possess a valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).You can speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace.You can navigate, operate, and troubleshoot computer systems and software applications.You can develop and maintain professional relationships and speak effectively before guests and groups of co-workers.You have effective time management and organizational skills; can prioritize and organize work assignments and follow through as necessary to receive expected results.You have a strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously.BENEFITSWe are proud to offer competitive wages and the following benefits for full-time employees:Up to 3 weeks of paid time off annually50% off discount at most New Waterloo restaurantsHealth, vision + dental benefits401K matchingPaid holidaysVolunteer payTuition reimbursementReferral bonusesDiscounts at our shops, hotels + local partnershipsABOUT NEW WATERLOONew Waterloo is a community-centric independent hospitality company based in Austin, Texas.
