Certified Medical Assistant
IMMEDIATE HIRING: CCMA – Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
We are urgently seeking a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to join our healthcare team. If you are motivated, dependable, and ready to start immediately, we want to hear from you! This is an independent contractor position.
Key Responsibilities
Assist providers with patient exams and procedures
Take vital signs and prepare patients for visits
Perform clinical duties including EKGs, and phlebotomy (as applicable)
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting patient history.
Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
Manage electronic record systems to maintain accurate information.
Provide support in occupational health.
Conduct basic life support as needed and maintain certification.
Scheduling appointments and handling front-desk tasks as needed.
Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and other relevant skills.
Collaborate with healthcare teams.
Required Qualifications
Current CCMA Certification (REQUIRED)
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong clinical and patient-care skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Previous clinical experience is a plus.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
Ability to multitask and work well in a team.
DOT drug and alcohol collections or willing to pay for certification.
DNA collection or willing to pay for certification.
Familiarity with medical administrative support functions is essential.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge.
