We're hiring a Project Manager to lead the execution phase across every project — procurement, vendor coordination, contractor management, installation, and closeout.ResponsibilitiesLead execution end-to-end across all active projectsDevelop and maintain detailed project schedulesCoordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and tradesManage procurement, lead times, and long-lead itemsReview vendor proposals and invoices for alignment with scope and design intentCoordinate RFIs and design clarifications between contractors and the design teamOversee receiving, warehouse logistics, installation, and punch list completionRepresent the studio on-siteWhat We're Looking ForA background that overlaps with execution at House Rupert — interior design PM, residential construction, architectural PM, custom homebuilding, millwork or furniture trade, hospitality build-out, or similarMinimum 5 years managing projects in a residential or design-adjacent environmentAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings, schedules, and specificationsComfort running projects through software; adaptable and inquisitiveProficiency in Microsoft ExcelFamiliarity in Studio Designer would be a bonusStrong organisation, confident communication with clients and tradesAn eye for quality and proportionRoleFull-time, contractHourly rate, depending on experienceOffice-based in Santa Barbara with some remote flexibilityPrimarily Central Coast projectsInterested?
