Whether it is sales, service, parts, leasing, or rentals - Ballard’s been keeping the community rolling for over 100 years.Ballard Truck Center in Portland, ME is currently hiring for Parts Counter Representative [1101P].Responsibilities And DutiesParts Counter Representative Responsibilities Include:Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.Pull purchased parts from stockIf the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer.Answer phone calls in a timely manner, providing price quotes and other information.Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.Notify customer re: ordered parts, promptly restock returns, cores.Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in personHours are Monday to Friday, 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, with mandatory, occasional Saturdays (8am to 12pm)Qualifications And SkillsParts Counter Representative Job Requirements:Must have prior, relevant experienceAbility to read and comprehend instructions and information.Must have at least basic computer skillsProfessional, personal appearance.Ability to work well with the public, sometimes with several customers at a time.Ability to work both individually and as a teamMust be able to lift 50lbs or moreWill be required to wear a dealership provided uniform.Benefits IncludeHealth insuranceDental insurance401(k)Flexible spending accountShort term disabilityLong term disability Life insurancePaid time off10 paid holidays a calendar yearCompany paid uniforms
