A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:\nRN - IMC\n\nJob Details:\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM\n• 4x12 schedule (four 12-hour shifts per week)\n• Floating to other units required\n• Navy blue scrubs required\n• 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU required\n• Travel experience documented\n• EPIC EMR experience required\n• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Critical Care Course/ECCO (ACCN)\n• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification\n• Care for patients with common diagnoses including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative patients\n• Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo systems\n• Manage patients on chronic ventilators with respiratory therapy assistance\n• Serve adult patient population (18+ years)\n• Work in 64-bed unit with 15 designated neuro beds\n• Block scheduling availability but not guaranteed\n\nFacility:\nThis comprehensive healthcare system provides advanced intermediate care services with a focus on cardiac, neurological, trauma, and respiratory care.
