Crate Builder

Job Description We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Crate Builder / Packaging Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for building custom crates and pallets, preparing orders for shipment, and ensuring all packaging meets quality and safety standards.Shift - M-F 7AM TO 3:30PMKey ResponsibilitiesBuild custom crates and pallets based on order specificationsInterpret order pick lists to determine items for shipmentPerform quality control checks to ensure items are packaged correctly and securelyWeigh and label packages accurately for shippingInspect packages to ensure they are free from damageInspect shipping containers to ensure compliance with shipping regulationsAssemble and prepare daily orders for shipment based on location and shipping requirementsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required (Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred)3–5 years of experience building custom crates and pallets3–5 years of experience in packaging and shipping operationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a teamCompany DescriptionFor over 30 years, clients and candidates have entrusted AtWork to provide workforce solutions nationwide.
