We focus on core system primitives and performance-optimized architectures that drive the future of digital assets and markets.About The RoleWe're looking for a Platform/DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure our engineering team builds on. CI/CD pipelines, deployment environments, observability, and developer tooling. Our infrastructure is fast-evolving, supporting distributed node architectures across multiple cloud providers, self-managed CI runners, and diverse deployment targets. You'll make our systems reliable, performant, and cost-effective.This is a high-impact role on a small, high-caliber team. Your work will ensure that every other engineer moves fast and breaks few things. Expect to work directly with systems engineers and product to build and harden the platform layer for next-generation blockchain systems.ResponsibilitiesOwn and optimize our CI/CD pipelines ensuring reliability, cost efficiency, and effective spin-down to control compute costsConsolidate and streamline deployment infrastructure across Cloudflare, Google Cloud Run, and legacy providers, reducing redundancy and fragilityImplement and maintain observability: structured logging (OpenTelemetry/HyperDX), alerting (PagerDuty/Slack), dashboards tracking node health, transaction flow, and network performanceReduce developer onboarding friction: create reproducible local dev setups, streamline secrets management, and clarify & maintain documentationSupport network operations, chain state management, automated backups, and maintaining high uptime targetsEvaluate and deploy infrastructure tooling, including IaC, container orchestration, and cloud cost monitoringRequirements3+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related infra roles, ideally in high-growth or startup settingsStrong experience with CI/CD systems, including self-hosted runners and cost trackingDeep knowledge of GCP (Cloud Run, Compute Engine, GCS, IAM) or equivalent AWS platformsSkilled in Docker/containerization and orchestrationExperience building observability stacks—logging, tracing, alerting (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar)Familiarity with DNS, TLS, load balancing, and proxy conceptsProficient scripting in Bash, Python, or Go for automationComfortable working autonomously and prioritizing in a resource-limited environmentNICE TO HAVEExperience operating distributed systems (blockchain nodes, database clusters)Familiarity with Cloudflare edge products (Workers, R2, Pages)Experience with secrets management tools such as Doppler, Vault, or AWS Secrets ManagerExposure to blockchain/RPC infrastructure, FinOps, or multi-language dev environments (C, Rust, TypeScript)WHY JOIN US?Foundational platform role to help define our infra from the ground upWork with top engineers in distributed systems and digital asset infrastructureBe critical to the reliability of a network built for millions of transactions per secondHigh-impact, high-autonomy role where your work unblocks the whole teamAccess to cutting-edge hardware, dev tools, and resourcesCompensation And BenefitsCompetitive salarySignificant equity stake with meaningful upsideComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverageFlexible work environment with unlimited vacationSan Francisco–based; in-office presence required
