Duties
Assist the Executive Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service standards
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment with clear shift management and leadership
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes and menu specifications
Manage inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures across all kitchen activities
Support catering events and banquet functions by coordinating food service and ensuring timely delivery of dishes
Participate in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and aligned with guest preferences
Qualifications
Proven experience in fine dining establishments with strong culinary skills and a comprehensive understanding of food industry standards
Demonstrated supervisory experience leading kitchen teams effectively in high-volume settings
Extensive knowledge of dietary department practices, food safety protocols, and inventory management systems
Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management including shift oversight and resource allocation
Experience with catering, banquet service, restaurant management, and food service operations is highly desirable
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and foster a positive work environment
Excellent communication skills paired with a passion for hospitality and serving guests at the highest level
