Lead Front End DeveloperLocation: Austin, TX Length: 12+ months Shift: Hybrid/Onsite Interview: Onsite face to face (mandatory)Primary ResponsibilitiesLead a small team of experienced UI developers and contribute to development of next-generation central traffic management software, incorporating customer requirements and industry standardsCollaborate with Product Management, Product Owner, UX Designers and Architects to design and implement a modern and user-friendly browser frontendParticipate in UX process and requirements refinementContribute to product success and excel with a dynamic team in a highly collaborative environmentEnsure software quality at all levels through test automation developmentLeverage AI coding assistants for high productivity, test coverage and quality code outputRequirementsExperience designing and implementing React browser frontendsProven experience leading a teamDemonstrated experience with software patterns and React application design best practicesProficient in JavaScript / TypeScript and ReactReact Material UI experienceExcellent communication skillsMicroservice architecture experienceExperience using REST APIsExperience with CI/CD Pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab)Dedication to software qualityExperience writing automated unit testsOutstanding analytical, problem solving, planning, and abstract thinking skillsStrong attention to detail, proactively driving assignments and tracking tasksCreative thinking and innovation skills to define new approaches to issuesPreferred Education, Skills, and ExperienceMinimum five years of experience within Team LeadershipDesign of Cloud-Native applications / Design of multi-tenant applicationsMinimum of 2 years of experience designing / publishing reusable React components in npmMinimum of 2 years of experience using GraphQL APIsExperience deploying to KubernetesExperience with Websockets / SSE / CORS
