Long Term Substitute TeacherThis assignment consists of teaching 4th grade MathReports to: Elementary PrincipalANTICIPATED LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: AUGUST 13, 2026 THROUGH OCTOBER 30, 2026Must be able to provide effective individualized instruction to students in assigned classroom and with possible remote learning onlineRate Per Day$125.00 per day (days 1-20) $150.00 per day (days 21-60) B.A. Base (61st day until end of assignment)Valid Ohio Teaching License or CertificateEvidence of a clear record as determined by the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).Experience working with children in a school setting.Ability to maintain a well-managed, positive learning environmentFlexible and comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environmentStrong communication, interpersonal and computer skillsResponsibilitiesReview and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures and objectivesFacilitate student progress in the functional curriculumProvide effective individualized instruction to students in assigned classroom and with possible remote learning onlineEstablish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environmentProvide necessary support, communication, direction and feedback to assigned paraprofessional staff.Maintain regular, positive communication with building staffRegular and punctual attendance is requiredOther duties as assigned by school administrationThe Kirtland Board of Education is an equal opportunity employer offering employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or disability.
