In-Home Sales Consultant (Mobile Showroom, Assigned Appointments)Location: St. Louis, MO Territory: Maryland Heights, Manchester, Fenton, Maplewood, and nearby West St. Louis communities Pay: $35,000 to $40,000 base salary, plus commission (typical $30,000 to $90,000). UncappedWhat Makes This a Strong MoveAppointments are assigned from Home Depot inquiries, typically 2 to 5 per day. No cold calling or door-to-door canvassingStrong selling environment: average close rates of 40 to 60 percent, typical ticket size $5,000 to $20,000Company-provided mobile showroom: a van stocked with samples and catalogsCompany covers the essentials: vehicle, gas, supplies, tools, and technology providedBenefits after 90 days: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and life insuranceWhat You Will DoDrive the company van to in-home appointments across your territoryConsult with homeowners, measure square footage on site, and present flooring options from the mobile showroomBuild estimates and clear proposals, with home office support available for admin needsClose sales and complete follow-up the same day whenever possibleHelp customers understand financing options when it fits their needsKeep accurate notes and next steps in the CRMImportant: After the sale, you are not responsible for install coordination or ongoing customer communication. You sell, document clearly, and the operations team takes it from there.What We Are Looking ForExperience in in-home or consultative sales. Flooring or home improvement experience is a plusConfident closing skills, strong communication, and reliable follow-throughComfort discussing payment and financing options with homeownersValid driver's license and a dependable driving recordComfort working from a mobile showroom and handling samples throughout the daySchedule and TrainingLocal travel only, no overnightsAppointments are booked weekly, plan for 2 to 5 per day with time for driving and follow-upLate days on Tuesdays and Thursdays due to scheduled evening appointmentsTraining includes 3 to 4 days on-site in CincinnatiComp and Benefits$35,000 to $40,000 base salary paid weekly (Fridays)Commission paid every other Friday, calculated as a percent of total salesUncapped commission structure, typical commission range $30,000 to $90,000Company van, gas, tools, supplies, and technology providedBenefits after 90 days: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, life insuranceNote: No draw or ramp.
