Description:Interested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below.Position SummaryUnder general supervision, the Assistant Manager assists the General Manager in all operational & financial aspects ofthe restaurant. The Assistant Manager helps with the staffing, equipment, product control, guest service & general upkeepof the restaurant. Business will be conducted through open communications with guests, auditing & coaching teammembers.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupervise preparation, cooking, & serving of food with utmost concern for food quality.Assist with weekly work schedule & set-up organization of crew to properly handle business for different shifts.Order inventory & supplies, & check deliveries for accuracy; process invoices for payment.Properly complete weekly team member payroll sheets.Ensure delivery of the highest levels of guest service & resolve all guest complaints.Oversee store safety & implement proper sanitation practices.Ensure proper cash handling & reporting of all monies to the corporate office.Provide on-the-floor supervision to oversee line production & guest service.Assist in hiring, coaching, training, motivating, evaluating & terminating crewmembers as necessary.Make a positive contribution to the profits of the company.Oversee the completion & accuracy of all store reporting.Coach, train, & motivate Associate Manager to help them develop skills to become an Assistant Manager.Requirements:Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma required, some college preferred.Management level experience in the food service industry preferred.Experience with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, & Excel.Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, nights, & holidays as required.Additional Skills/CompetenciesQuick-thinker, anticipates/solves issues with excellent organizational, decision-making & guest service skills.Ability to communicate professionally in verbal & written form with guests, team members, & vendors.Ideal candidate is resourceful, innovative, enthusiastic, creative, outgoing, & passionate about achieving success.A positive style of management which encourages team member retention & promotes teamwork.Must be trustworthy, loyal, & be able to make decisions in the best interest of the company.Compensation & BenefitsLion's Choice provides competitive compensation including base salary, paid time off, & a comprehensive benefitspackage.About Lion's ChoiceFrom its humble beginning in 1967 with its first store in Ballwin, Missouri, privately-held Lion's Choice is a quick-serverestaurant in the Saint Louis area featuring high-quality, nutritious & tasty sandwiches, sides, & drinks with great service. xevrcycGuests love the real, roasted beef sandwich, made with lean top round beef, slow-roasted in the store, prepared to order, shaved thin, & served hot with a dash of secret seasoning on a buttered & toasted bun.
