This position can be performed from either the Redstone Arsenal facilities in Huntsville, AL or customer locations in Chantilly, VA / Washington, D.C. Work is expected to start on September 30, 2024. Tasking includes: Supports the ongoing maintenance of multiple Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) across enclaves. This includes managing backups, patching, upgrades, developer workstations, monitoring, and the overall security posture to ensure a valid Authority to Operate. Develops strategies for cloud-based platforms Translates business needs into long-term architecture solutions Develops and designs solutions as needed, evaluating multiple software platforms, and integrating systems Able to design automation for cloud resources using DevOps best practices Acts as highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms Responsible for project completion Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management May lead a large development team in the design of highly complex software systems.
