Material Handler

JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for delivering and picking up material safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Include: Crating, wrapping, banding material in preparation for shipment Loading materials on trucks Safely securing material to flatbed Represent Armor’s core values while interacting with external customers and vendors Operate forklift and hydraulic lift in safe manner Update travel log Additional tasks as assigned by manager PRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY This position interacts with the shipping supervisor and shipping coordinators as well as external customers on a daily basis. COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS Strong communication skills Time management skills Maintaining a safe driving record All Armor employees are also expected to demonstrate Armor’s core values of being: Customer Focused Passionate about Work Solution Oriented Driven by Integrity EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent Prior delivery experience is preferred EQUIPMENT USED This position will be using company vehicles and a forklift.
