Project Manager – Network Infrastructure (Offshore Development Center)

Location: US East Coast or Europe (preferred)Type: Contract / Contract-to-Hire (TBD) OverviewWe are seeking a technically strong Project Manager to lead the end-to-end setup of network infrastructure for a new offshore development center. This role will partner closely with a US-based core engineering team and oversee the full lifecycle of infrastructure fit-out for a new office environment.This is a hands-on PM role requiring both technical fluency in network infrastructure and the ability to drive execution across global teams and senior stakeholders. Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end project delivery for network infrastructure setup, from planning through deployment and handoffCoordinate the fit-out of office network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, connectivity, security, and hardware deploymentPartner with US-based engineering teams to ensure alignment on architecture, standards, and implementationManage cross-functional teams including network engineers, vendors, and local site resourcesDrive project planning, timelines, milestones, and deliverables across all phasesProvide regular status reporting, risk management, and governance updates to senior stakeholdersEnsure adherence to enterprise standards, security requirements, and compliance protocolsIdentify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and technical challengesOversee vendor coordination, procurement alignment, and implementation sequencing Required QualificationsProven experience as a Project Manager delivering network infrastructure projects (office buildouts, data centers, or similar environments)Strong technical understanding of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routing/switching, firewalls, connectivity, cabling, etc.)Experience managing full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closure)Demonstrated ability to work with distributed/global teams, particularly US-based stakeholdersExperience managing senior stakeholders and providing executive-level reportingStrong understanding of project governance, risk management, and reporting frameworksAbility to lead and coordinate engineering teams and third-party vendorsExcellent communication and organizational skills Preferred QualificationsExperience setting up infrastructure for offshore or global delivery centersBackground working in enterprise environments with defined architecture and security standardsFamiliarity with network security, cloud connectivity, and hybrid environmentsPMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification What Success Looks LikeSeamless delivery of a fully functional, secure, and scalable network infrastructure for the offshore centerStrong alignment between offshore implementation and US-based architecture standardsClear communication, predictable delivery, and proactive risk management throughout the project lifecycleWelcome to ConsultNet, a premier national provider of technology talent and solutions.
