Dairy Calf Manager

Calf Manager- Rock Creek Innovations Clinton, WI 53525 Rock Creek Innovations is a growing business within the embryo donor and recipient industry. Through partnership with Stateline Veterinary Service, we provide donor solutions (IVF and ET), embryo recipients, and live calf opportunities to clients. This position works with the site manager, donor manager, and other members of the management team to provide exceptional service to our clients. Our team leaders are ambitious and motivated, take pride in their work and strive for excellence daily. This position will be responsible for managing dairy calf health, including the feeding, treating, and vaccinating of animals, cleaning and maintenance of calf facilities, and coordinating veterinary work. We have the ability and expectation to train and develop the successful candidate to a level of elite performance. Qualifications · The position is physical, and the candidate must be able to lift at least 50lbs, and be comfortable walking, crouching, bending. · Reliable transportation is REQUIRED to be considered for the position. · Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required). ·Minimum of 1 year of previous experience working with young calves required. · Individual must be detail orientated, team player, dependable, goal orientated, and want to strive for success. ·Spanish communication skills recommended ·Proficiency with Google Sheets preferred Responsibilities include but are not limited to Overseeing calves from birth to three months by monitoring milk, grain, water Bedding Vaccinations, treatments, dehorning Movements in and out of calf facility Managing turnover and preparation of calf pens Monitoring & managing day to day feed, medicine, and misc. inventories.
