Software Integration Engineer
Overview
In this role you will test, evaluate, integrate, and troubleshoot the HPC software stack on a priority program in Annapolis Junction. You will work within the Software Engineering team to maintain system integrity across heterogeneous environments, addressing software and hardware issues with rigor. The position offers the chance to drive reliable HPC operations and contribute to large-scale, performance-driven computing initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve root causes and implement robust mitigations.
ResponsibilitiesTest, evaluate, and integrate HPC software stackTroubleshoot HPC system problems including software stack and hardware issuesPerform Linux-based administration tasks and basic system administrationDevelop and maintain automation scripts (Bash/Python)Work with IaC tools (Salt, Ansible) for automationSupport HPC shared file systems and performance monitoringFamiliar with high-speed interconnects and acceleratorsUtilize open-source HPC benchmarking tooling
