This is a great fit for someone with hands-on gate system experience who enjoys troubleshooting, field service work, and being part of a new division with room to grow.In this role, you'll support automated gates, access controls, operators, motors, safety devices, and related systems. You'll be joining an established operation while helping expand its gates, automation, and access control services. Translation: not boring, not stagnant, and definitely not the same four screws every day. ??Why you should apply:• Pay range of $20.00-$32.00 per hour• Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM• Opportunity to help grow a newer service division• Commercial and residential service work• Room for upward mobility for the right person• Hands-on field role with variety, independence, and technical problem-solvingWhat you'll be doing:• Servicing and repairing automated gate systems• Working on slide, swing, cantilever, vertical lift, barrier arm, and crash-rated gate systems• Maintaining and repairing high-security and crash-rated gates• Troubleshooting operators, motors, control boards, safety loops, photo eyes, keypads, intercoms, and access control devices• Performing preventative maintenance and scheduled service work• Supporting installs and system upgrades as the division grows• Working with mechanical, hydraulic, low-voltage, and basic electrical components• Responding to emergency service calls as needed• Participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend serviceThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:• Have 2+ years of hands-on experience with automated gate systems• Have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills• Have solid electrical knowledge, including low voltage and basic 120V/240V• Can read wiring diagrams and manufacturer documentation• Are comfortable working independently in the field• Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record• Are reliable, safety-focused, and customer-service minded• Are willing to complete a criminal background check• Are willing and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, including marijuanaPreferred experience:• LiftMaster, DoorKing, HySecurity, FAAC, Nice, Viking, Linear, or similar systems• UL 325 compliance knowledge• Commercial, HOA, industrial, or high-security gate environments• Access control and telephone entry systems• Welding or fabrication experience, preferred but not requiredWhat happens next:Once you apply, you'll move to the next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
