Job SummaryThe Speech & Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), under the supervision of theDirector of Student Support Services and a credentialed Speech & Language Pathologist(SLP), follows and implements specialized speech and language instruction and servicesfor students who have disorders of language and speech which includes hearing, voice,pragmatics/social communication, expressive/receptive language and fluency, asdirected by the credentialed SLP; provides screenings without interpretation; consultsand collaborates with teachers and parents regarding strategies which enable access toand progress in the general education curriculum.The Classical Academies is an organization of award-winning, tuition-free, California Public Charter Schools serving North San Diego County since 1999.
