Job Description: The Crane Mechanic is responsible for providing support and assisting with the DOT inspections, perform PM service on equipment, provide support for Samsara installation, and provide support with additional equipment repairs as needed. Key Responsibilities Provide support and assist with the DOT inspections on trailers, tractors and cranes. Perform PM service on all equipment. Assist technicians as needed. Replace lights, mud flaps and trailer decking. Provide support and assist with air brake inspection and replacement. Provide support and assist with Samsara installation. Provide support for Crane technicians. Qualifications Skills: 0 – 2 years experience as a Crane Mechanic. Strong organizational skills. Strong customer services skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Work is performed in a standard construction environment with prolonged periods of standing, sitting and/or walking. May occasionally be exposed to dangerous machinery, extreme noise and physical harm in areas requiring hard hats, safety glasses and steel-toed safety shoes.?? Job Requirements: Active NCCCO crane certification. 3+ years experience operating heavy machinery, preferably cranes. Valid Driver’s License, Class A preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to read, speak, and understand English.
