Agile Project Manager – Technical Programs/Pharma
Job Summary:The company is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to support high-visibility technical programs within engineering-driven environments. This role will function as a hands-on Agile Specialist embedded with software, data engineering, and technical product teams to drive sprint execution, roadmap planning, stakeholder communication, and delivery accountability. The ideal candidate will bring strong Agile methodology expertise, technical project management experience, and the ability to coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced distributed environment.Key Responsibilities:• Lead Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives• Drive continuous planning and maintain visibility into rolling quarter deliverables, milestones, and execution roadmaps• Track technical project timelines, risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery commitments across programs• Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Program Management teams to prioritize backlog items and align execution goals• Support engineering teams by ensuring product requirements, technical dependencies, and design inputs are available on time• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to communicate progress, blockers, and delivery updates• Maintain Agile tooling, dashboards, burndown metrics, velocity reporting, and sprint health analytics using project tracking systems• Identify and remove execution obstacles that may impact sprint commitments or milestone achievement• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across distributed teams working in multiple time zones• Promote Agile best practices, team accountability, planning discipline, and delivery efficiency throughout the project lifecycleRequired Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline• Minimum 5 years of experience in Agile project management within software or technical engineering environments• Strong experience working in Scrum and Agile delivery models with hands-on sprint execution ownership• Proven experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and maintaining sprint planning discipline• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and related Agile project management tools• Strong technical understanding of software development workflows and engineering delivery cycles• Experience managing project dependencies across multiple teams and parallel programs• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving skills• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, user experience, and program leadership teams• Strong adaptability in dynamic, fast-changing technical environmentsPreferred Qualifications:• Experience supporting data engineering, ETL workflows, or technical data pipeline initiatives• Exposure to Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning program environments• Familiarity with Kanban methodologies and Agile performance reporting• Experience working with fully remote distributed engineering teams• Prior experience serving as a technical liaison between engineering and non-technical stakeholdersBenefits:The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.Pay Range: $60/hr to $75/hr
