Tool Crib Personnel

JOB OVERVIEWThe primary responsibility of the tool crib is to perform various tasks to support the manufacturing operation by organizing all kind of tooling and maintaining a perpetual inventory of all continued items.ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)Manages receipt, storage, and distribution of tooling, hand tools, machine tools, materials, and equipment, maintaining manual or computer-based records of issuance and returns.Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.Conducts periodic or perpetual inventory of tools and equipment, manually or via computer.Unpacks and stores incoming items, requisitioning stock as needed.Inspects tools and equipment for defects or wear using micrometers, reporting issues to supervisors.Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment with hand tools or spray equipment.Delivers tools or equipment to workers using hand trucks, carts, or bins.Marks and identifies tools with tags, stamps, or electric marking tools.Collaborates with vendors to set expectations for quote turnaround and delivery times.Organizes and labels cabinets/shelves by part number.Creates and updates work instructions for each part.Transports parts and materials using a company vehicle.QUALIFICATIONSEducation: high school diploma or equivalent required.Ability to use measuring tools and quality related equipment.PREFERRED SKILLSAttention to detail and organizational skillsAdherence to deadlines/goalsAbility to adapt to new situationsTRAVEL REQUIREMENTSTravel to other Robinson facilities may be required.At Robinson, we value professionalism, expertise, and a dedication to craftsmanship.
