Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

MUST HAVE EXTERNAL REPORTING EXPERIENCEMUST HAVE SEC EXPERIENCE Position SummaryThe Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate financial reports in compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and company policies. This role supports month-end and year-end close processes, external reporting, audit coordination, and management reporting while partnering with cross-functional departments to improve financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedulesAssist with SEC filings including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other regulatory reporting requirementsAnalyze financial results, variances, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs)Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activitiesEnsure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal control requirementsCoordinate with external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviewsPrepare management reporting packages and executive-level financial presentationsResearch and document technical accounting issues and accounting policy updatesReconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepanciesCollaborate with FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, and operational teamsImprove reporting processes, automation, and system efficienciesAssist with implementation or optimization of ERP and reporting systemsMaintain accurate documentation and reporting proceduresQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requiredCPA designation preferred5+ years of accounting or financial reporting experiencePublic accounting experience preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirementsExperience with SOX compliance and internal controlsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or JD EdwardsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPreferred SkillsFinancial statement preparation and analysisSEC reporting and technical accounting researchData analysis and financial modelingAttention to detail and accuracyProcess improvement and automation mindsetPower BI, Hyperion, Workiva, or similar reporting tools experience
