Job: Pipe Fitting & Welding LeadReports to: Production ManagerJob Duties & ResponsibilitiesFit and weld piping systems to spec, sequence, and schedule.Oversee accurate layout, support install, and final spool readiness.Own the full spool lifecycle-material prep, fitting, welding, and QC readiness.Balance throughput and craftsmanship-your team reflects your standard.Core Responsibilities:Lead fabrication of spool assemblies and system piping.Ensure code compliance (ASME, AWS) and proper documentation.Track fitting/welding progress per module schedule.Expectations:Ownership: Treat pipe scope as critical infrastructure-quality and function are non-negotiable.Execution: Balance speed and quality. Ensure joints are clean, spaced, and properly supported.Leadership: Train new fitters/welders and uphold discipline in work areas.Problem Solving: Flag design issues or missing BOM early and escalate quickly.
