Manager - Mom & Pop's Convenience Store

Mom & Pops is a well-established quick-service grill and convenience store. A longtime local favorite, the store is known for its made-to-order meals, friendly service, and consistent quality. We're seeking a hands-onManager to oversee all aspects of store operations, drive performance, and lead a team-oriented, customer-first environment. This is a full-time, working manager position.Duties and Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To:Oversee daily operations.Create and manage employee schedulesHire, train, and evaluate staff.Monitor and control food, labor, and operating costs.Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.Manage vendor relationships and inventory, including regular cycle counts.Conduct performance reviews and provide development plans.Foster a motivated, accountable, and customer-focused environment.Perform all other duties assigned.Requirements:3+ years of upper management experience, preferably in food service, convenience stores, or retail operations.ServSafe certification (required).Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong understanding of food safety and store operations.Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.Familiarity with POS systems and basic financial reporting.Work full-time hours and overtime as needed.Full availability is required, including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.What We Offer:Competitive pay based on experience.Paid Time OffDisclaimer & Approvals:The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
