He or she is an excellent communicator—both in writing and verbally. As the General Manager, your responsibilities will be:Focus on your people by creating a culture of high employee retention and full staffingManage crew member employees in a manner that encourages them to grow with the company and reduce turnoverInterview and hire team membersTrain your people with passion and purpose so that they feel empowered and encouraged to unlock their full potentialTrain, monitor, and reinforce food safety proceduresDeliver Best in Class guest experiences through the QDOBA recipe of delicious food, over the top hospitality, and a sparkling clean restaurant and kitchenMaintain fast, accurate service, provide excellent customer service, and model restaurant hospitalityEnsure continual improvement of Quality, Service, and CleanlinessBe a leader of your businessMaximize store sales goals versus budget, including participation in marketing programsOversee and partner on increasing catering salesManage food and labor costsExecute company policies and proceduresAnticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective actionQUALIFICATIONS:To remain compliant with state and federal laws, you must be at least 18 years old.Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience: 5+ years QSR experience with 2+ years in a leadership positionSkills/Knowledge/Abilities: Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills; highly motivated and organized. Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior. Can take direction from individuals in higher-level positions. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to recruit, hire, coach, train and motivate employees. Must have a valid driver's license.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift equipment and cases of product weighing approximately 10-50 lbs. Must be able to speak and hear clearly on the telephone and in person.
