SENIOR COST ENGINEER ESTIMATOR

Senior Cost Engineer/EstimatorRepresenting a leader in the industry, we are searching for a Senior Cost Engineer/Estimator to join their Houston TX office.The Sr. Estimator will be responsible for providing detailed cost estimates based upon conceptual documents as well as schematic, design development, and construction documents. The Sr. Estimator must interface with other estimating disciplines as well as the other members of the Project Team and Owner Representatives.Requirements:Estimate construction project cost for various types of projectsTeam player, excellent interpersonal skills and a cooperative attitudeAnalytical skills and attention to detailResponsible, ethical, and conscientious natureExcellent spoken and written communication skillsPresentation and communication skills appropriate for meetings with clients and management10 years of construction estimating experienceAbility to provide cost at a high conceptual or programming levelLead estimating team review for estimating quantities and scope of projectMust be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipPreferences:Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar field of study preferred.Field experience may be substituted for educational requirements.Aviation/Transportation OR Public Works experience a PLUSStrong comp & benefits Salary commensurate with experience You will be asked to provide a projects list
