* CNC Programmer

CNC ProgrammerTOPS Staffing is hiring a skilled CNC Programmer for a direct hire opportunity with a growing manufacturing company in the Pittsburgh area. This role supports two nearby facilities and offers the chance to work on a variety of equipment, parts, and projects. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on programmer who can take ownership of both programming and shop floor support.As a CNC Programmer, you will develop and optimize programs using CAD/CAM software while also assisting with setups, tooling, and troubleshooting. You'll play a key role in ensuring efficient, high-quality production across both locations.Machine Overview:Location 1: 2 CNC Mills (1 Vertical, 1 Horizontal)Location 2: 3 CNC Machines (Haas Mills & Lathes)Key Responsibilities:Create and edit CNC programs using CAD/CAM softwareSupport both facilities with programming and process improvementsSet up CNC mills and lathes, including tooling and work offsetsPerform tool changes, fixture adjustments, and setup optimizationTroubleshoot machining and programming issuesRead and interpret blueprints and engineering drawingsPerform quality inspections using precision measuring toolsOptimize feeds, speeds, and tooling for efficiency and accuracyProvide technical support to machinists and operatorsWhat We're Looking For:Strong CNC programming experience using CAD/CAM software3+ years of machining experience including setups and troubleshootingAbility to edit G-code and make machine-side adjustmentsExperience working with CNC mills and lathesProficiency with micrometers, bore gauges, and other inspection toolsAbility to read complex drawings and hold tight tolerancesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailSelf-driven and able to manage responsibilities across two locationsNice to Have:Experience with Haas machinesFixture design or build experienceAbility to program from scratch and improve existing processesPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working in an industrial MFG environmentWhy This Opportunity:Direct hirefull-time from day oneSteady daylight scheduleTop-end pay up to $39/hour based on experienceOpportunity to make a direct impact on production and efficiencyLong-term stability with a growing companyGreat company benefit package offered with this role
