Performance Engineer

Performance EngineerApex Systems is currently looking for an experienced Performance Engineer to join our direct client's automation/performance testing team. This individual will be focused on helping our client bring their performance testing in-house (currently done by a third party).Type of Employment: Contract to HireTechnical Experience:Experience and knowledge of performance testing and analytical tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter and proficient in scripting languages.Experience on product testing in an Agile environment; should know the various stages of product release.Experience on various test techniques and appropriate applicability/implementation.Proven excellent system performance monitoring skills using APM tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics.4-8 years of total experience in Performance testing and engineering.Experience with Automation Testing (Selenium) would be a major bonus.Expected Responsibilities:Identify/validate test objectives and define test approach for its implementation to align tests by interpreting business requirements.Implement test approach with workload modeling and develop scripts using required techniques.Test executions and understand issues for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Ability to evaluate test exit criteria to assess if additional tests are required or if test scenarios need to be adjusted.Expert in compiling, analyzing, and interpreting performance test results and provide recommendations especially perceived performance metrics.Stakeholder collaboration and communication.
