National seeks a seasoned Demolition foreman who is skilled at site management of industrial demolition jobs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment.DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESExperience and knowledge in construction/demolitionGeneral knowledge of day-to-day dismantlement/demolition operations and knowledge of hand & power tool usageWillingness to learn new procedures or tasksExperience managing personnel and running workAbility to read and understand architectural/structural drawingsFollow good construction safety practices and following company code of ethics, policies and proceduresOperates equipment in a clean and efficient mannerAssures demolition is always conducted in a safe mannerProduction drivenMust be willing to care for and maintain tools and equipment in addition to other dutiesAble to measure, mark and record areas where work is to be performed and has been completedAssisting other trade workers as necessaryStrong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, the ability to track, record and plan work tasks, be able to work safely and promote a safe work environmentAbility to lift, pull, push up to 100 poundsWork in various weather and job location conditionsAbility to occasionally work irregular hours and weekendsAbility to understand and follow directions and take instruction in EnglishNational Salvages Core CompetenciesDemonstrates National Salvage valuesDriven for personal and company successDelivers exemplary customer service internally and externallyActs with integrity.
