Come join our family in KONE Americas to be a part of something big!As Associate Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:JOB DUTIES:Support Production Testers to provide Business ContinuityProvide additional Troubleshooting expertise to test technicians.Document issues in production and create root cause corrective actions.Identify upstream locations where errors occur and propose Poka-yoke process improvementsContinuous Improvement Mentality / Zero defect CultureMonitor test station productivity (time-based process requirements)Execute and Document Productivity ImprovementsExecute First Pass Yield continuous improvement tasksTester MaintenanceReview top 3 tester downtime causes per month and propose, execute and document countermeasures and corrective actions.Develop and Execute Tester Maintenance program.Review / Update Drawings to support documentation accuracyLeading / Teaching Test TechniciansProvide Training to testers on best practices and system knowledge to promote development in test team.CR ImplementationExecute manufacturing Testing Tasks for CR milestones.Provide Support to Prototype and Pilot OrdersCR ImplementationExecute manufacturing Testing Tasks for CR milestones.Provide Support to Prototype and Pilot OrdersAdditional Responsibilities:Complete Quality CIT assignments Support Quality AuditsSupporting EVC process issuesHIRING REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s in science in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or Engineering TechnologyEducation Equivalent Work Experience (7-10 Years working in a manufacturing environment as a tester with troubleshooting responsibilities)With Degree - 0-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environmentNon-Degreed - 7-10 Years working in a manufacturing environmentRequired:Electrical System Trouble Shooting (working with an Volt / Amp Meter)Electrical Drawing Read / Write / Edit Capability24vdc/ 120vac / 240vac / 208vac / 480vac / 400vac (Europe) circuit understandingRelay Logic ExperiencePreferred:Elevator system / code knowledgeElectrical Data Collection (i.e. PicoScope)C# / C++ Programing a plusContinuous Improvement Mentality / Zero defect CultureHi-pot Test ExperienceAbout KONEAt KONE, we foster an innovative and collaborative culture, valuing each individual's contribution.
