At SupplyCaddy, we combine creativity, problem-solving, and innovation to help businesses enhance their branding and bottom line.Role DescriptionThe Staff Accountant/Junior Accountant is responsible for managing the company's general ledger, performing month-end close activities, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. This role works closely with the Corporate Controller to maintain strong internal controls and support financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and reconcile the general ledger, including cash, AR, AP, fixed assets, and accrualsPrepare and post journal entries and adjusting entriesManage the month-end and year-end closing processEnsure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policiesReview entries and reports prepared by the Accounting Assistant for accuracy and completenessAssist in preparing financial statements and management reportsSupport audits, tax filings, and other external reporting requirementsIdentify process improvements to increase accounting efficiency and accuracyAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a small or mid-sized corporate environmentSolid understanding of GAAP and month-end close proceduresProficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and ExcelStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent organizational and communication skills
