Software Developer, Python - Security Clearance Required III... is hiring a senior-level Software Developer, Python. This is a full-time role located in Adelphi, part of IIIIIIUS's DevOps hiring. Salary Salary is not disclosed in this posting. Market median for Senior-level DevOps roles is $120k-$195k. The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $81,499.00 - $138,549.00. Responsibilities Develop software using DevOps best practices within a team of software and hardware engineers. Use containerization technologies, such as Docker, to configure and deploy ISR applications. Document and publish results of tests in technical reports. Deliver progress updates, insights, and deliverables in technical briefings and forums. Work in a multi-team development project. Required Qualifications and Skills Active U.S. Government-issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship required due to contract requirements. DoD 8570-compliant and maintain IAT I level certification. BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physical Science, Information Science, or Mathematics. Minimum 6 years of research or technical experience in scientific or technical fields relevant to requirements. 2 years of experience using Python and Git. At least 1 year of experience deploying containerized applications using Kubernetes or Docker. Minimum 1 year of experience writing code to interact with databases. 1 year of experience working inside Linux environments. Ability to analyze, document, and publish technical reports based on testing. Hands-on experience with software development best practices, including parallel, distributed, and multi-threaded programming, networked application development, and CPU/GPU application development. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with agile programming techniques, code reviews, and delivering contributions in an impactful way.
