Smoke Shop Cashier

## Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service and ensuring smooth transactions at checkout. ## Responsibilities - Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately - Greet customers and assist them with their purchases - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment securely - Scan items and ensure pricing is accurate - Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services - Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels ## Skills - Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change - Proficiency in using POS systems to process sales - Excellent time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently - Experience in retail sales, preferably in a grocery store or electronics sales environment - Knowledge of stock procedures for maintaining inventory levels - Familiarity with technical sales for electronics or appliances is a plus - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $11.50 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Shift: 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Evening shift Ability to Commute: Lapeer, MI 48446 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Lapeer, MI 48446: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
