Role Description
The Teacher - Camp Activity Specialist is a full-time, on-site role located in Chestnut Hill, PA. The role involves planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities for campers, fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment. Responsibilities include organizing materials, supervising activities, and ensuring camper safety while providing mentorship and support. The candidate will collaborate with team members to ensure smooth execution of the camp's daily schedule and uphold the mission of ESF Camps & Experiences.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Lesson Planning and curriculum development for various age groups
Proven expertise in Education and Teaching to foster creativity, innovation, and skill-building
Effective Communication skills to engage with campers, parents, and team members
Experience in Training and mentoring children or young adults in recreational or educational settings
A passion for creating a positive and inclusive camp experience
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (preferred)
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required)
Previous experience in a camp or youth program setting is a plus
