Irving group of companiesRelocation costs (if applicable)Pay range is $81,000 - $115,000/yr, depending on experience, qualifications, and professional certificationsResponsibilitiesDevelop a climate which encourages the participation and involvement of all employees to pursue continuous development and continuous improvementRecommend upgrades and design considerations for converting operations improvementsDevelop and mentor technicians to increase capability to achieve higher levels of operational responsibilitySupport the site in carrying out long range plans, objectives, and activities (ex. installation and startup of new converting equipment)Qualifications4-7 years of manufacturing and supervisory experience combined.Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering in lieu of supervisor experience will be considered.Strong leadership skills, team oriented, and effectively engages others in dealing with problems and solutionsLean Sigma experience is an assetAbility to teach, mentor, coach, develop, delegate, and follow-upEnjoys fast pace and multiple competing prioritiesOperational, hands on - possesses ability and willingness to help solve problemsSolid understanding of converting systems and business processes preferred and should include Microsoft Office applications.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsDemonstrated commitment to promoting a safe work environment
