Assistant Lube Center Manager

Job Description Our team is growing and we're looking for a friendly, communicative, and customer service-oriented manager to oversee daily operations at our store location. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in managing our team of retail associates, interfacing with our customers, and contributing to the overall success and profitability of the store.Assistant Manager Duties and ResponsibilitiesTechnical Automotive Service and Mechanical ExperienceRecruit, train, and supervise retail staffState Vehicle Inspector a plus.Motivate staff to meet those sales goalsAddress customer complaints and issues in a professional mannerHandle staff conflicts, complaints, and problemsPrepare various promotional materials and in-store displaysEnsure compliance with various health and safety regulationsCollaborate with the head office to ensure store location lives up to standardsJob is 90% shop focused and 10% administrative focused.Requirements and Qualifications3+ years experience working as a technician, service advisor, or in Quick Lube management.Excellent interpersonal communication capabilitiesCustomer service-oriented attitudeConfidence to lead and direct a team of associatesAbility to stay organized and manage time effectivelyStrengths in leadership, management, team building, and problem-solvingCapability to thrive in a fast-paced and oftentimes high-pressure environmentNumerical and analytical knowledge to properly manage cash and financial recordsUnderstanding of basic business management functionsEnthusiasm and a positive attitudeMinimum of a high school diploma. Candidates with associate's or bachelor's degrees will be given a preference3+ years of experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a supervisory roleProven competencies in effective communication and managementWillingness to learn and tackle new challenges
