Maintain accurate inventory through the use of the warehouse management system. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and any tools, used in the warehouse to complete tasks.Using forklift and/or pallet jacks to pick ordersReceiving of vendor receipts and transfersInspection materials for nonconformitiesUse the warehouse management systemOperate hand jack or forklift to load trucksWrap palletsPreparation of hazardous materials for shipmentPack cartons correctly and stack cartons on palletsFollow work instructions as given by supervisor, line staff, or Quality ManualReport non-conformities to the supervisorEducation: High School diploma or equivalentExperience and/or Training:One or more years in warehouse setting recommended Good attention to detailHigh Level of flexibilityKnowledge of quality management systemKnowledge of inspection processesAbility to follow English - written and verbal instructionsBasic mathematical skillsLicenses/Certificates:Forklift certification recommended not required. Will certify within the Lube Tech safety guidelinesTechnology/Equipment:Knowledge of WMS or ERP system preferred, not requiredPhysical and Mental Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently asked to speak, hear, stand, sit, and/or use both hands to handle, or touch objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk, bend, distinguish colors or use repetitive movement for certain tasks. The employee must be able to lift and carry 25 to 60 lbs. occasionally and lift more than 60lbs. intermittently. PPE will be used while filling forklift and pallet rider batteries. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.Working Environment:Work is performed in a warehouse setting. Noise level is moderate to loud. Although the warehouse is climate controlled, the employee will need to be able to adapt to different climate changes.The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $23.00 to $25.00 hourly.
