Job Title: Service Associate IFLSA Status: Non-ExemptDepartment: RetailHours: Varies by branch location, Saturdays by rotationGeneral Job Summary: To complete face-to-face customer banking transactions, sell and cross-sell bank products and services, and provide exceptional customer service.Organizational Duties and Responsibilities:Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures.Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Exemplify our 212 commitment to serviceProcess deposits, withdrawals, cash checks and balance a cash drawerCash checks following check cashing policySell official checksProcess and balance teller work through image captureConsultative Selling – Engaging customers and prospects to uncover needs and offer solutionsAssist with beginning, end of day and other operational duties as neededParticipate in weekly team meetingsWorking Conditions: Work on teller line, which will require long periods of standingMinimum Job Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or GED EquivalentExperience: Customer contact and cash handling experienceSpecific Skills: Good written and verbal communication skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to work well with othersGood math skillsPC proficientPhysical requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
