PerforMix develops and produces the highest quality feed supplements on the market. The company is comprised of nutritionists, a logistics fleet, sales force, quality control managers, and administrative support. This team understands that proper nutrition is key to the production of exceptional Northwest beef.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Complete production/batchingUnload railcarsUnload bulk dry and liquid ingredientsComplete sampling and QC tasksPerform general maintenance, inspection and cleaningOperate a forklift according to safety standardsUnload bagged ingredients and/or palletsTest batchesUse a computer to perform required tasksOversee usage tanks for best utilizationDeliver sacked or toted feeds if applicablePerform mechanical trouble shooting and problem solvingMay be required to enter confined spacesAdhere to all safety, SFSF and company policiesParticipate in required trainingMaintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance on a regular basisPerform other related duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Basic math skills, including the ability to understand metric conversionsMust be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeEXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) OR minimum of one (1) year of related experience and/or trainingPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time.The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
