Pay Rate: $2,700.00 - $2,900.00 gross per weekNumber of Positions: 1Specialty: PharmacyStart Date: 06/15/2026Travel: Yes - onsite lodging, $600.00/monthAssignment Length: 13 weeks to start w/ chance to extendEMR: AllscriptsSchedule: 4x10'sWeekday or Weekend shifts can be assignedStart Times - 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am, or 12:00 pmCall: N/AAdditional Details about the positionPrescription Processing & Validation: Receiving, scanning, and interpreting prescriptions; validating patient information (name, DOB, allergies) and insurance coverage.Clinical Review (Drug Utilization Review): Checking for appropriate drug dosage, interactions, contraindications, and therapeutic appropriateness.Preparation & Dispensing: Generating labels, filling medication, scanning for accuracy (barcode technology), and compounding if required.Pharmacist Verification: Final check of the medication, dose, and instructions by a pharmacist before it is released to the patient.Patient Counseling: Discussing medication purpose, dosage, potential side effects, and administration techniques with the patient.Medication Therapy Management (MTM): Providing services such as comprehensive medication reviews, disease management (e.g., in anticoagulation or diabetes clinics), and managing chronic conditions.Transition of Care ("Meds to Beds"): Ensuring patients receive their medications before leaving the hospital, reducing readmission rates.Documentation: Updating electronic health records with medication adjustments, recommendations, and counseling notesEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS1 year minimum relative experience2-3 years preferredCERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTSACLS - Can obtain during onboarding processLICENSURE REQUIREMENTAny State LicenseABOUT THE FACILITYThis facility is a 73-bed regional referral medical center in Tuba City, Arizona on the Navajo Reservation. TCHRCC's service area is 6,000 square miles and covers the western region of the Navajo, Hopi, and San Juan Paiute Reservations.In 2021, TCRHCC received over 250,000 patient visits a year at the main campus and at satellite facilities in Flagstaff, at Sacred Peaks Clinic; LeChee Health & Wellness Facility near Page, a clinic at Bodaway/Gap, Cameron, and the Kaibeto Creek Independent Living Center.
