The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, inclusive, and iterative software delivery environment and has an array of skills within the systems engineering discipline. This position will require systems engineering expertise within a multi-faceted team, where the individual is willing to provide a myriad of tasking to support the mission and be willing to learn new technology and methodologies as the program evolves.What You Will Need2-5 years of Systems Engineering experience on software system projectsExperience with system architecture and design (decomposing capabilities into services/components; documenting interfaces and dependencies)Extensive experience producing and maintaining architecture/interface artifacts, including:Experience planning and executing system integration efforts (integration strategy, interface coordination, test events, acceptance criteria)Experience with SMF environments and servicesExtensive experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for backlog management, documentation, and engineering workflowsExperience developing CONOPS and translating operational workflows into system requirements and interfacesStrong stakeholder communication (cross-team coordination, technical writing, design reviews)Familiarity with customer/mission contextNice to HavesKnowledge of AWS fundamentals (networking, compute, storage, IAM)Knowledge of cloud-native technologies (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes)Experience with API design and documentation using OpenAPI/SwaggerData/storage fundamentals (SQL/NoSQL, data modeling, caching, backup/restore strategies)Experience with message/event systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub)Linux proficiency (shell, services, troubleshooting)Security ClearanceActive TS/SCI with polygraph.Two Six Technologies is committed to providing competitive and comprehensive compensation packages that reflect the value we place on our employees and their contributions.
